Whether it’s the night of Halloween or the middle of Summer, you can always get into the Halloween spirit at Amelia’s Galena Ghost Tours in Galena, Illinois! Amelia’s Galena Ghost Tours is located at 204 Hill Street, which is on the uphill near the Galena Kandy Kitchen. The Galena Ghost Tours have a shuttle bus that travels to many haunted locations around Galena, Illinois.

Shuttle buses always include a wheelchair ramp to provide handicap accessibility. If you need accommodations, give the Galena Ghost Tours a call in advance. Two times each night, Amelia shares stories of haunted hotspots and the history of each location with the tour guests. The tours begin at 7:40 pm and 9:00 pm, so be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes early as the tours always begin on schedule. If you bring any children, it’s recommended that they’re at least 10 years or older. I met with Amelia, who hosts the Galena Ghost Tours on the shuttle bus. She helped me get information and pictures!

Amelia’s Galena Ghost Tours is open from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday to Thursday and 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday and Saturday. Specials include the Haunted Pub Crawl Saturday nights at 8:00 pm and $20.00 bus tour tickets Sunday to Thursday through March 2013 in Galena and surrounding cities, including Dubuque, Hazel Green, Savanna, and Hanover.
